The Intensive Program is a small course of 2 to 6 adult students. The course will have immersive learning with general Chinese classes, supplementary classes, and sight-seeing activities.

This program can provide an Admission Letter to support students applying for a visa.

Class Days

Monday to Friday

Class Times

11:10am - 4:10pm

Lunch break from 1:10pm-2:10pm.

Each two hour class includes
a 10 minute break.

Intensive Schedule

Learn in our Intensive Chinese Course for 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 11:10am to 4:10pm. There is an hour lunch break from 1:10pm to 2:10pm.

Make better progress in a small group class and have more opportunities to practice during class. Levels from Absolute Beginner to Upper-Intermediate are offered.

Find the Right Level

The class uses A Course in Contemporary Chinese Textbook and Workbook with a focus on speaking, listening and reading traditional Characters.

Students with Mandarin learning experience can take a placement test to be placed in the most suitable class.

Visa Application Procedure

  • Apply for the Intensive Program

    Complete the application form and provide enrollment documents for your visa.
    (1) Application form
    (2) Copy of passport
    (3) Study plan
    (4) Financial Statement (at least US$5,000 or equivalent within the last 3 months)

  • Pay the Tuition Fee

    TCA will send tuition payment details when your enrollment documents are approved.

  • Receive Admission Letter

    Admission letter will be sent within 7 working days after tuition is received and the enrollment is completed.

  • Complete Application for Visa

    Submit your online visa application form, print out the completed form, which include the barcode. Bring the form, admission letter, required documents and a copy of all the documents above to the closest R.O.C. embassy or representative office to apply for your visa.

  • Check In with Passport

    Students have to show their passports to TCA staff to check the visa.
